It’s a good idea to wash rugs from time to time to thoroughly remove stains and dust. Wash the rug gently with cool water and mild detergent. Do not soak or scrub. Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water. Remove excess water and reshape the rug while damp. Dry flat in an airy space. Many VM Carpet rugs have been treated to repel dirt. Thanks to this, the rugs stay clean for longer and don’t need to be washed as often. Regular vacuuming and promptly removing stains with a damp cloth are enough for maintenance. The dirt-repellent treatment can be renewed during washes using consumer-grade products.
